- Title:
- William H. Willimon - "A Parable of Parents at Prayer" (October 28, 2001)
- Description:
-
Sermon start time: (Part 1) 1:20. Sermon end time: (Part 1) 22:23.
Children are like righteousness which are gifts of God, something given, not earned. Likewise, parenting can become Pharisaic if parents rely on their own work and strength as opposed on God to raise children. The good news is that, however bad parents we have been, God can always restore the sin we do to our children and makes parenting right again. (Abstract created by Duke Divinity School staff.)
