- Title:
- William H. Willimon - "Mutual Submission" (August 25, 1985)
- Description:
-
Sermon start time: (Part 1) 23:50. Sermon end time: (Part 1) 47:52.
In our contemporary world where liberation, independence, and freedom are celebrated, the biblical idea of submission and obedience sounds embarrassing and even dislikable. Arguing that real maturity is having the knowledge of community and knowing that we are a web of relationships and responsibilities, the preacher calls for the Christ-church model of marital relationship which is mutually submissive and interdependent.
