About the Digital Collection
Collection consists of three letters; two are concerned with a speech Byrd was to make to the Lions Club Convention on the proposed amendments to the Virginia Constitution. The third item is an invitation to a farewell dinner given for Commander Richard Evelyn Byrd by the Byrd Aviation Associates for the Byrd Antartic Expedition in New York on July 25, 1928.
