- Description:

Pamphlet calling for supporters of Bishop James Cannon, Jr. to contribute money to a fund for Cannon's trial. "A generous response will not only afford relief from the crushing burden of financial obligations, but will also show an appreciation of Bishop Cannon's unselfish services and great sacrifices -- sacrifices which have made him a real martyr to the cause of Prohibition and Protestant Christianity." Cannon, a champion of Prohibition, is being charged with breaking laws concerning contributions to his campaign against anti-Prohibition candidates.
