Circular letter, dated March 1, 1909, from "Gospel evangelist Tom C. Hege" to the people of Charlotte, N. C., proclaiming that "Satanic agencies seen and unseen are working to destroy human life, so I must go from city to city...also tell the good news that Jesus is coming." He states as proof "the earnest world-wide missionary work of Christian people" and "Fire, flood and earthquake is also another way that God is warning the inhabitants of this world of his near approach". Those who do not evangelize should "join the workers in the homeland and help support those who do go" in the form of monetary contributions.
