Program for the 2-day, Confederate veteran's reunion, held in Charlotte, N. C., Wednesday, August 25 - Thursday, August 26, 1909. Participants include: Mrs. Stonewall Jackson; Chaplain A. D. Betts; Mayor Hawkins; Col. E. A. Osborne; Gen. J. S. Carr; Chief Justice Walter Clark; Ex-Gov. T. J. Jarvis; Miss Ruth Tabor Porter, Mecklenburg Camp mascot; and a recitation of "Lee to the rear" by Miss Bessie Burkheimer. Entertainment at Vance Park by the Stonewall Jackson Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The Parade of veterans was led by: First Brigade, Gen. P. C. Carlton; Second Brigade, Gen. W. L. London; Third Brigade, Gen. Jas. I. Metz; Fourth Brigade, Gen. J. M. Ray. Barbecue at Latta Park after the parade. Carriages "subject to orders of the Chief Marshal, S. H. Hilton."
