Conditions upon which license to sell liquor is granted by the City of Wilmington, N. C.

Ordinance for granting liquor licenses in Wilmington, N. C., adopted by the Board of Aldermen June 22nd, 1903, and signed by B. F. King, Clerk and Treasurer. The broadside outlines eleven conditions for granting liquor licenses, among them: "No woman shall enter any...place where intoxicating drinks are sold", except in "those places where groceries and liquors are sold together this shall not apply to the grocery department." Also, saloons cannot sell or give away liquor, nor sell meals on Sunday, and "curtains to all the windows of all saloons shall be raised on Sunday and no windows shall be stained or painted."
