New Year's address for 1868 from the store of Herman & Moss

Broadside, thought to be from Mississippi, featuring a New Year's address from Herman & Moss department store: "To the world we lift our caps, and from the pinnacle of Fashion's temple wish all a happy new year." The owners thank their many friends for their liberal patronage during the difficult year of 1867, and end their remarks with a poem, concluding, "The happy throw shadows behind them; Then gather Life's gold, never heeding the dross; For bargains, go always to Herman & Moss; For there you are surest to find them."
