  • Propaganda leaflet of the Milanese federation of the Italian Comunist Party calling for solidarity with the war veterans, specifically Sappisti and Gappisti. Sappisti are members of SAP (Patriotic Action Teams), partisan groups fighting in the Italian resistance, formed in the summer of 1944 as formations of about 15-20 men each. Gappisti are members of GAP (Patriotic Action Groups), they had a longer history, and were formations that included a much smaller number of SAP.
