Italian propaganda during WW II, with the Italian partial text transcript of Giuseppe Garibaldi's speech, titled "Carissimi concittadini!' (Dear fellow citizens!), delivered at Geneva, Italy - April 15, 1860. Giuseppe Garibaldi (1807-1882) was an Italian general, politician and nationalist who was a central figure in the Italian Risorgimento. Garibaldi supported the creation of a European federation, and expected a unified Germany to become an European and world leader and to champion humanitarian policies.
