Hurrah for the election!

Circular letter, in support of Mr. Grimsditch's in the next elections of Macclesfield, a market town in Cheshire, England. The letter also addresses the Reform Bill (eventually the Reform Act 1832), an Act of Parliament that introduced wide-ranging changes to the electoral system of England and Wales. After the 1932 elections, it was first time this city was represented in Parliament. Macclesfield was granted a borough charter in the early 13th century. In principle, the term borough designates a self-governing walled town, although in practice, official use of the term varies widely.
