My dear sir, Friendship and duty call on me to address you...

In these 4 pages we find 2 different personal letters. The first one, unsigned, and written trough the course of several days and places. Starting in Inverness on February 18, 1805, then in Inverary on February 26th and 28th. The second letter is signed on March 5th, 1805 by Archibald Campbell Fraser of Lovat, (1736-1815), British consul at Tripoli and Algiers, and later colonel of the 1st Inverness local militia.
