Program of the performance at Exeter Hall, of the Haydn's Oratorio, The Seasons, that will be conducted by Sir Michael Costa, and, between band and chorus, will have nearly 700 performers. At the end of the page there is also an announcement of the performance of the Messiah, that will take place on April 5th, 1871. Exeter Hall was a hall on the north side of The Strand, London, England. It was erected between 1829 and 1831 on the site of Exeter Exchange. The site was formerly part of Exeter House, the London residence of the Earls of Exeter . The official opening date was 29 March 1831.
