Letter from Dr. Terrell, to the Executive Committee of the Southern Central Agricultural Society.

Letter justifying the use of enslaved labor to maintain prosperity of southern agriculture. Uses the term "barbarian" to describe enslaved people and their ancestors and makes a false equivalency between laborers in Europe and enslaved people in the United States.
