Chiefly Bird's diary (1866 Sept. 12-1867 June 22) while he was a resident near Brandywine Village, a suburb of Wilmington, Del. Records social, political, and family activities. Includes financial accounts for 1861, including agricultural labor, while Bird was at Summit Bridge.
