Summary: Court order addressed to Edmund Wright, "hereby appointed constable for the purpose and to the jailer of the county of Caroline" signed by Fleming Terrell, "JPCC [Justice of Peace Caroline County?]". Wright is "commanded to carry and deliver to the jailor of the county of Caroline, a negro man Randal slave, the property of Taverner Winn, for uttering and expressing words of a seditious and insurrectional nature at the house of Henry Hodgers in the s[ai]d county, and you the said jailer receive him this said negro slave into your custody and him safetly kept until discharged by due course of law".
