There are two sets of transactions occuring at the estate sale in Augusta, Georgia of Charles E. Clark of Richmond, Georgia. Each set with two bills of sale between the same parties, with the buyer and seller reversed. One regards "a negro woman Matilda and her child Fanny. Matilda about thirty years of age and Fanny about five years of age." The transaction is between James W. Clark and Samuel B. Clark, executor. The other regards "a negro woman named Clarissa, her child Eliza, one and a half year of age and her infant one month old." The transaction is between John W. Clark and Samuel B. Clark, executor.
