| Announcer | I Can't believe Dave Holbrook's | 0:02 |
| old enough for college. | 0:04 | |
| Never forget the day they moved in. | 0:06 | |
| The van hadn't even left, | 0:09 | |
| when little Davey had his accident. | 0:10 | |
| Banged into a crate knocked out two front teeth. | 0:12 | |
| Mrs. Holbrook had noticed the dentist office. | 0:16 | |
| When she stopped Davey's bleeding, | 0:18 | |
| she brought him right over. | 0:20 | |
| He was a little shy at first, | 0:22 | |
| after all I was a stranger. | 0:24 | |
| So I took time to show him around. | 0:27 | |
| Make him feel at home. | 0:29 | |
| First thing, Davey spied was my diploma. | 0:32 | |
| Wanted to know why I had all those words framed. | 0:35 | |
| I told him they meant that I had spent | 0:38 | |
| eight years in college preparing for my profession. | 0:40 | |
| Eight years to learn about teeth? | 0:43 | |
| Said, Davey. | 0:45 | |
| No, not only teeth. | 0:47 | |
| I showed Davey my laboratory | 0:50 | |
| and explained the dentist study dozens of subjects. | 0:51 | |
| Long names like biochemistry and oral pathology. | 0:54 | |
| That way they're ready to take care of any dental problems. | 0:59 | |
| Including little boys who fall | 1:02 | |
| and lose their two upper incisors. | 1:04 | |
| By the time Davey was through, | 1:08 | |
| we were good friends. | 1:09 | |
| The x-rays had shown there were no tooth fragments left, | 1:11 | |
| and I could assure him Mrs. Holbrook, | 1:14 | |
| that Davey's permanent teeth would come in very soon | 1:15 | |
| and with no bad effects. | 1:18 | |
| That if he took care of his teeth, | 1:20 | |
| he'd have a smile to be proud of. | 1:22 |
