- | Like I said, you'll never know who you'll run | 0:01 |
into in a supermarket like Mrs. Glenn Campbell and her baby. | 0:03
- | Come on Kane, hand mommy the Pampers. | 0:07 |
Pampers weren't around yet when Kelly and Travis were babies | 0:10
and disposable diapers weren't anything much to talk about. | 0:13
Then one day after Ken came along | 0:17
I asked Glenn to pick them up. | 0:18
Like the typical husband, he brought home another kind, | 0:20
Pampers. | 0:24 | |
When I tried them and saw how much dryer they kept Kane. | 0:25
No more cloth diapers for this little guy. | 0:28
- | Did you ever take a close look at Pampers? | 0:33 |
Well, I'm curious. | 0:35
I like to take things apart and see how they work. | 0:37
Let me show you what I found out. | 0:39
When I cut open a Pampers. | 0:41
Now don't you pull the plates out like I'm doing | 0:43
they help keep moisture inside where it belongs, but look | 0:46
see this part inside next to your baby. | 0:51
This part is called a stay dry lining , | 0:54
when you wet it the moisture passes right through | 0:56
and there's all this absorbent stuff underneath | 0:59
to soak it all up. | 1:01 | |
Now that's really soaked. | 1:03
But the lining, the part that's next to Kane, stays dryer. | 1:05
So he stays dryer and on the outside it's waterproof. | 1:09
So nothing can get out that way. | 1:13
So of course you don't need plastic pants. | 1:15
Quite a difference from cloth diapers, isn't it? | 1:18
Try it for yourself. | 1:20
Tear up a pamper. | 1:22 | |
Kane. | 1:23 | |
Oh no, I didn't mean the whole box full darling. | 1:25 |
