Duke University GIS Layers

The Duke University GIS Layers collection provide information on a variety of topics for the Duke community. The collection includes ArcGIS layers and Google Earth layers for the following:

- Campus Features
- Campus Vegetation
- Typography (Hypsography)

ArcGIS layers are compressed in ".zip" format and require GIS software capable of reading ESRI geodatabases or shapefiles, or MrSID format raster data. Google Earth layers are compressed ".kmz" files. All vector layers use the N.C. State Plane coordinate system (linear units = feet).
