Narrator: Once upon a time, there were two drivers. The not so smart driver who got terrible gasoline mileage 'cause he never took care of himself and the smart driver who got great mileage 'cause he'd see his wise friend, his independent Texaco retailer, for regular maintenance. He'd check under his hood, tune him up, he'd check him out, even take him for a test ride. His friend got him in great shape for great mileage. Now the not-so-smart driver never ran right. He sensed he needed a tuneup 'cause he was eating up fuel. He'd idle rough, misfire, even stall. Finally, he conked out where there wasn't a friend in sight.
