1
00:00:00.940 --> 00:00:02.840
(squeaking sound)

2
00:00:02.840 --> 00:00:05.350
<v ->The positive thing that comes out of Guantanamo</v>

3
00:00:05.350 --> 00:00:09.800
I guess is that, you know, you go through hardship

4
00:00:09.800 --> 00:00:11.590
and then you realize,

5
00:00:11.590 --> 00:00:12.823
for me it's been.

6
00:00:15.210 --> 00:00:17.490
Right now I look at the world in a different way.

7
00:00:17.490 --> 00:00:18.323
I really,

8
00:00:18.323 --> 00:00:21.870
it's like the veil has been lifted off the world.

9
00:00:21.870 --> 00:00:25.380
And what I see, you know,

10
00:00:25.380 --> 00:00:28.050
what the world is, it is about, it is pain.

11
00:00:28.050 --> 00:00:28.883
It is suffering.

12
00:00:28.883 --> 00:00:30.420
Guantanamo is the real face of

13
00:00:31.838 --> 00:00:32.671
of the world and life.

14
00:00:32.671 --> 00:00:33.843
That's how I see it.

15
00:00:35.630 --> 00:00:39.540
Coming back the veil has been, you know, placed back

16
00:00:39.540 --> 00:00:40.740
and I'm expected to like

17
00:00:41.710 --> 00:00:43.810
accept society as though, you know,

18
00:00:43.810 --> 00:00:45.840
things like Guantanamo Bay aren't happening

19
00:00:45.840 --> 00:00:47.313
or you know, even worse.

20
00:00:48.310 --> 00:00:50.960
But I can't do that because I've seen beyond the veil.
