(soft wind howling) Because Americans needs more oil than ever before, we sometimes have to drill over three miles straight down to get it. And that's deeper but Mount Shasta is high. Now, to give you an idea of just how deep that is, try to imagine drilling to the bottom of Mount Shasta. (dramatic fanfare music) Even though the average cost of drilling down three miles could run a million dollars, it's the kind of thing Texaco is doing to bring you the oil you need. (dramatic fanfare music continues) And right here in Louisiana, Texaco is drilling several wells that are expected to be over three miles deep. We're doing our best to bring you oil.
