- As the people of God, let us affirm what we believe. 

- We believe in God who has created and is creating, who has come in the truly human Jesus to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the sprit. We trust God who calls us to be the church, to celebrate life and its fullness, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us, we are not alone. Thanks be to God.

- Let us pray. Oh God, enteral and changeless, who through ever-changing scenes of life and joy and pain, of effort and rest, continues to lead your people to a nobler destiny than any of us ever of ourselves can conceive. Grant that having our minds steadfastly set upon your commandments and being continually directed by your voice speaking to us, even in the events of this hour, that we may meet with courage whatever the days may bring, of evil or of good, being afraid of nothing that others or the world may do or threaten and fearful only of falling below those things which you have prepared for us and set forth in the gospel of your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the coming days cause your grace, oh, Almighty God, to triumph over our infirmities and grant us inwardly such increased steadfastness and in our lives such a larger harvest of good that through sunshine and storm we may trust and not be afraid. We may work and not be weary, suffer and not complain, overcome evil with patience and in humility and peace possess our souls through Jesus Christ our Lord. To you, most gracious God, we dedicate ourselves and all that we have beseeching you to guide our hands, our minds and our whole energies to those things which are worthy of ourselves and pleasing to you through Jesus Christ our Lord who taught us to pray saying. 

- Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
